The Goods and Services Tax (GST) Council, in its Official website, stated that advertisement on common use items would attract lower GST rates under the new Goods and Services Tax regime which was launched on 1st July 2017.
The list of those common items is also available in the web portal.
This includes, food items like milk powder, curd, lessi, sunflower oil, coconut oil etc.
House hold goods of daily use, clothing and footware, school bags and other educational related products etc.
