UBS has invited applications for the post of Finance Business Analyst.
Qualification
⢠A University Degree in Finance/ Accounting with experience in working with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP, etc.)
⢠Studying towards an accounting designation (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) would be an asset
⢠Up to 6 years of work experience with a comparable financial institution or a Big 4 company
⢠Delivery of complex products to internal clients i.e. Financial Controllers, ideally within the financial services industry, specifically relating to Financial Accounting and Regulatory Reporting outputs
â˘Working in agile environments with strong understanding of agile delivery frameworks and product management
â˘Strong leadership skills with the ability to work with both local and remote employees across locations
â˘Team player with an enthusiastic and proactive personality, a true agile mindset and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
â˘Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
â˘Setting and delivering on outcome-focused goals, such as using OKRs (Objectives and Key results) team player with an enthusiastic and proactive personality, a true agile mindset and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
⢠Analyse regulatory and business needs, producing timely, clear and concise functional requirements and specifications
⢠Co-develop a clear product vision, strategy and roadmap covering the full product development lifecycle (including creation, version and infrastructure upgrades, and eventual decommissioning)
⢠Drive new products and product changes iteratively and continuously together with cross-functional team members in the pod
⢠Act as product owner within an agile team, participating in agile ceremonies and ensuring the product requirements are clear to designers and engineers.
⢠Ensure the product is being tested together with clients to gain insights and ensure readiness of changes (e.g., UX testing, end user testing)
⢠Support pod Objective and Key Results and provide relevant product measurements and metrics to meet overall regulatory and business goals
⢠Ensure the quality and compliance of the product, from also a technical and non-functional requirement (i.e. production stability, performance, maintainability etc.)
