In the context with the latest suggestion on the study of examination answer books and re-valuation system in Central Universities, the Ministry of Human Resource and Development ( MHRD ) has asked the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India ( ICAI ) to enclose a list of Central Universities.
A letter issued by the Ministry had said that “With reference to your letter ICAI/SECY./December/2018 dated 03/12/2018, on the subject mentioned above, the undersigned is directed to enclose a list of Central Universities indicating therein e-mail Id and contact number.”

The ICAI Chief CA Naveen N D Gupta had earlier said that the Institute is working on the best practices on the re-evaluation of answer books and the same will require amendment in the Chartered Accountants Regulations.
“In this context, ICAI is in direct interaction with University Grants Commission, Ministry of Human Resource and Development and Ministry of Corporate Affairs to draft re-evaluation process of ICAI for onward approvals of the Central Government and subsequent amendments in regulations,” he said.
