Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, and/or similar discipline with analytical bias, cross functional collaboration and Team Management
- 5+ years’ relevant experience in positions that require analysis, reporting financial results, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and data interpretation of business impact and results
- 5+ years’ experience performing financial and ad hoc analysis
- 5+ years’ experience with Excel advanced functions
- Preferred Qualifications: CA/MBA
- Delivering high quality financial controls, work in a constantly changing environments motivated by a fast-paced and highly entrepreneurial environment
- Ability to understand and mitigate business and financial risks
- Lead business agenda on new insights / business cases to help augment market share
- Thought Leadership to help business growth agenda
- Strong aptitude and financial acumen
- Hold and remain accountable to category PnL Targets on topline and bottomline
Responsibilities
- Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
- Analyze financial data – and create financial models for decision support
- Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools
- Mentor the team and ensure learning curve for their growth
- Ensure maintenance of Data archives for easy consumption whenever required
- Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
- Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision Support
- Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and Forecasts
- Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization
- Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials
