PM to Inaugurate National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes & Narcotics (NACIN) today at Andhra Pradesh

On January 16, 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to unveil the National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes & Narcotics (NACIN) in Palasamudram, Andhra Pradesh. This sprawling hub of innovation, covering 500 acres of picturesque land, serves as a nurturing ground for Indian artistry and embodies a self-reliant spirit that fosters vibrant community life.

Special features of NACIN

1. An apex institution of Government of India for capacity building in the field Of indirect taxes
2. Training in the fields of Customs, GST, Central Excise, Drug laws, Anti-money laundering, Fake Indian Currency Notes. IPR etc.
3. Training of officials of Central revenue as well as central allied services, state governments & partner nations
4. Environment friendly green campus sprawling across 500 acres in Sri Sathya Sai district of Andhra Pradesh
5. Immersive learning programs using augmented  & virtual reality, block-chain as well as Artificial Intelligence
6. Accreditation by WCO, UNEP, UNODC and SASEC
7. Facilities of post office, bank, supermarket, school, hospital etc in the premises for the public.
