The Goods and Services Tax Network ( GSTN ) has recently announced an enhancement in payment methods, allowing taxpayers to utilize UPI and Debit/Credit Cards for GST payments across 15 states/UTs.
Taxpayers now have the flexibility to settle their dues using UPI and Debit/Credit Cards, with this feature presently accessible in a select list of 15 states/UTs.
The states/UTs where this service is currently available include:
1. Assam
2. Delhi
3. Goa
4. Gujarat
5. Haryana
6. Himachal Pradesh
7. Jharkhand
8. Karnataka
9. Kerala
10. Madhya Pradesh
11. Maharashtra
12. Odisha
13. Rajasthan
14. Tripura
15. Uttar Pradesh
Expansion of this service to cover the rest of India and additional banks is underway.
This option is compatible with all UPIs and Credit/Debit cards supported by RuPay, MasterCard, Visa, and Diners Club through Kotak Mahindra Bank Gateway.
