The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has announced the dates of the CA Intermediate September 2024 Examination and CA Foundation 2024 September Exam.
CA Intermediate Group-I exams are scheduled for September 12, 14, and 17, 2024, while CA Inter Group-II exams will be held on September 19, 21, and 23, 2024.
According to the official notification, no exams will take place on September 16, 2024 (Monday) due to Milad-un-Nabi, a compulsory Central Government holiday as per F. No. 12/2/2023-JCA dated July 3, 2023, from the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievance and Pensions, Government of India.
The CA Foundation Exam 2024 Paper(s) 3 and 4 will be 2 hours long, while all other exams will last 3 hours. The examination timings are as follows:
– Foundation Paper 1 & 2: 2 PM to 5 PM (3 hours)
– Foundation Paper 3 & 4: 2 PM to 4 PM (2 hours)
– Intermediate All Papers: 2 PM to 5 PM (3 hours)
For Papers 3 and 4 of the Foundation Examination, there will be no advance reading time.
However, a 15-minute advance reading period will be provided for all other exams from 1:45 PM to 2:00 PM.
For composite papers containing both MCQ-based and descriptive questions, the seal of the MCQ-based question paper will be opened at 2:00 PM, eliminating the advance reading time for these sections.
The Examination commencement timing at Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Muscat Centres will be 12.30 PM i.e., Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Muscat local time corresponding / equivalent to 2 PM. (IST). The Examination commencement timing at Bahrain, Doha, and Kuwait Centre will be 11.30 AM i.e., Bahrain / Doha / Kuwait local time corresponding / equivalent to 2 PM (IST). The Examination commencement Timing at Kathmandu (Nepal) Centre will be 2.15 PM Nepal local time corresponding / equivalent to 2 PM (IST).
The Examination commencement timing at Thimpu (Bhutan) Centre will be 2.30 PM Bhutan local time corresponding / equivalent to 2 PM (IST).
The Council reserves the right to withdraw any city / centre at any stage without assigning any reason, the examination schedule stated.
As a part of automation and platform consolidation, ICAI had announced that all candidates in respect of Foundation and Intermediate Examinations will be required to apply online at https://eservices.icai.org (Self Service Portal – SSP) for September 2024 Exam and also pay the
requisite examination fee online. These forms are based on your eligibility for your course based on announcements and regulations. These forms will be available on SSP, and you are requested to login with your credentials (Username <SRN@icai.org> and password). These Exam forms will be available in SSP effective designated dates as announced on www.icai.org.
For Indian Centre(s), the fee for Intermediate Examination – Single Group / Unit (All except 2) is ₹1500/- and Both Groups / Unit 2 is ₹ 2700/-.
For Foundation Course Examination, the fee for Indian Centres is ₹ 1500/-.
