The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India ( ICAI ) has officially announced the list of candidate nominations received for the upcoming Council Elections scheduled for December 2024.
As of the deadline, which was set at 6:00 PM on September 25, 2024, a substantial number of nominations have been recorded from various regions, representing a diverse pool of candidates vying for positions on the Twenty Sixth Council and the Twenty Fifth Regional Councils.
The nominations encompass a wide array of professionals from the accounting field, with candidates representing different geographical constituencies across India. Notably, the announcement highlights the nominations received for five major regional constituencies: Western India, Southern India, Eastern India, Central India, and Northern India.
