Job Description
- Support the NBS / GDD Reporting Lead (based in Basel)
- Maintain monthly closing reports/models in coordination with NBS / GDD Reporting Lead
- Coordinate affiliate reporting review process including commentary submission and FCRS reporting quality
- Review of affiliate reporting packages and maintain issue tracker for items requiring resolution
- Responsible for coordinating, analyzing, challenging and continuously improving affiliate reporting commentary for key financial reporting focuses
- Driving the completion of action items identified during monthly closing process
- Support BPAs in monthly report requests and ad-hoc requests
- Coordination with Technical Accounting team in one-off transactions
- Preparation of monthly “reporting updates” to share with BPA.
- Responsible for coordinating and completing the quarterly Balance Sheet Review
- Support reporting lead team to further align processes cross divisionally (e.g. FCRS, Management Reporting systems, NFCM, etc.)
- Support regional and FSC / NGSC teams – Co-ordinate accounting queries and sharing best practices in reporting and also follow up with affiliates on special guidance and focus areas.
Minimum requirements
- University degree – Certified Public Accountant/Chartered Accountant – Fluent in English both written and spoken – German, Spanish and French of advantage
- Overall relevant work experience of 6-8 years.
- Strong technical competence acquired in Audit and Financial Reporting & Accounting – minimum 2 year Big 4 and/or Public Accounting experience Financial Reporting systems
- Good experience acquired in global consolidation and evaluating reporting systems
- External Reporting and/or Compliance Function
- 2 – 5-year experience acquired in one of these areas in a multinational company
