Amazon is looking for driven FinOps Specialist to become major contributors to the fast paced world of Global Finance Operations.
Responsibilities
- Identifying root causes for problems within the supply chain or in internal Amazon systems and leading the initiative of fixing these problems- conduct follow-up tasks, communicate opportunities for improvement and agree on action plans
- Analyze underlying issues and root cause to improve processes and customer experience.
- Drive defect resolution for identified issues.
- Analyze dependencies trends and make course corrections within business processes by establishing reliable mechanisms
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders for amicable Vendor solutions.
Basic Qualifications
- CA, CPA or CWA, with 8+ or more years of post-qualification experience in Shared Services, Accounts Payable
- Strong Customer focus (both Internal / External).
- A work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations.
- Strong interpersonal skills — including written and oral communication skills.
- Expertise in Six Sigma defect reduction techniques (DMAIC, etc.)
- Retail industry experience (Preferred)
- Experience using Oracle Financial Applications (Preferred)
