The Amazon has invited applications for the post of Financial Analyst.
The Finance Analyst for the West and North zones will be responsible for supporting Zonal Finance Lead with a high level of dive deep, business partnering, and the ability to balance multiple priorities without compromising timelines or quality of work.
Responsibilities:
- Support work with Zonal Finance Manager supporting drive Financial Planning, Analytics and Controllership.
- Overseeing and providing analytical support for business optimization initiatives.
- Validating financial and operational results of process improvement efforts.
- Budgeting and forecasting efforts for the Station & Sort Center(s).
- Ensuring financial controls are in place and are followed, maintaining data integrity.
- Managing the financial close process, accounting, and results reporting.
- Act as the finance business partner to various site-level & operational stakeholders and provide guidance on decisions.
Qualifications:
- CA/MBA from premier business schools.
- 0-2 years of related experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Expertise with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Strong financial acumen including familiarity with forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Designing financial reports in Excel/Cognos/Access.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and business sense
- Ability to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Oracle Financials and Essbase a plus.
