Philips has invited applications for the post of FP&A Analyst- Deputy Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor or Master’s degree in a Commerce, Finance and/or Accounting orientated study. CA/CPA/ICWAI/MBA Finance preferred.
- Good exposure to treasury and forex risk management topics
- 8+year of working experience with financial control, management reporting and business analyses, preferably within an international environment
- Good skills in Excel, Cubes retrievals, PowerPoint presentation and with reporting & analytical tools, like power BI and basic SQL, etc.
- Preparing, analyzing, presenting the P&L financials in MEC, QEC, YEC and submitting Management review decks with actionable insights
- Be a good team player and have excellent communication skills
- Should have good Business Acumen and analysis skills
- Flexible and open in providing an Ad-hoc Support to the CoE/ Central FP&A Team / BG / BU with relevant & useful financial information
- Identify, Develop & Implement the ideas – Simplify, Standardize, Harmonize the activities/reports by adopting the best practices from other Markets. Automate the reports with the help of various tools. Add value to the process.
- Work with cross-functional teams (IT, FMS, Factory Finance, PPA)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accountable for reliability, timeliness and accuracy pertaining to the deliverables defined in the delivery catalogue covering the key topics of Non-Manufacturing Cost and Forex.
- Support by delivering meaningful, accurate and timely reporting & analysis on business performance, thereby supporting relevant stakeholders (ExCo, Businesses, and Markets) to make fact-based sound business decisions as part of the Monthly performance, AOP, quarterly forecasting, strategic planning, cost guidance, target setting, etc.
- Actively participate in the target setting process for business by developing and reviewing cost guidance and financial targets for BGs/ Markets/ Functions/ Innovation (as applicable)
- Perform FX Analysis and perform forex reports for business and Philips as a whole.
- Participates in various x-BG/Sector/Market Finance improvement projects. Understands systems and tools. Ensures quality, accuracy and integrity of information stored in our systems, enabling a single source of truth.
- Build an internal network with Business, Market and Function Heads of Finance.
- Champion lean thinking and tools for operational excellence and productivity.
- Drive efficiency in the processes and also ensure On-time delivery with 1st time right delivery.
