The Maersk has invited applications for the post of Analyst, ATR.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Bank Account reconciliation and posting.
- Follow-up on open items in bank account reconciliation
- Perform Cash sweeps/remittances/fund transfers in liner/agency books
- Monitoring and controlling of bank accounts reconciliation of countries/liner.
- Monitoring and Performing Country Liquidity and Treasury related task.
- Process performance based specific internal reporting (Control Dashboard elements, etc)
- General management reporting & other adhoc reporting
- Perform other general accounting activities – Adhoc postings, etc.
- Co-ordinate/communicate/provoke location to provide necessary information required for reconciliation/clearing of pending lines/issues faced during reconciliation
- Able to perform bank activities: PO/PI creation, Balance Matching, Day end, external bank statement posting, IHB statement posting, 145/245 reconciliation, Technical accounts clearing, IHB interest rates calculation & posting
- Able to explain valid reasons on open items in bank reconciliation & resolutions sorted out for those in respect to validate Liner Trial Balance sign off
- Clear on IHB/IHC concepts & is aware of end to end process at considerable level
- Ensure updated knowledge on APMM accounting principles, Finance manager’s manual, local accounting as applicable
- Able to assist other team members in resolving issues.
Qualifications:
- Graduate in Commerce
- At least 3-5 years of experience in Finance and Accounting processes
- Sound knowledge in accounting & reporting tasks
- Computer literate (Windows) & Strong MS Excel skills
- Good communication skills (English) – Fluent Oral & Written
- Analytical & Problem Solving ability for trouble shooting
- Update on all new developments within the process & local GAAP
- Prior experience in ERP systems
