The Deutsche Bank has invited applications for the post of Senior Analyst.
Deutsche Bank is looking for FINREG Analyst for their P & L team which is responsible for respective trading desks. Responsibilities:
- Monitor revenue flash & actual and commentary wrt business drivers for Trade Finance -Germany as well as at a global level.
- Perform month-end close activities: accounting journals in SAP, CRES submissions, MRP, and V&C as per control frameworks.
- Analyzing and resolving validation errors and intra / inter-entity breaks within defined timelines.
- Perform adhoc analysis to partner with stakeholders and live the team extension model
- Partner with multiple senior stakeholders; create and drive key strategic initiatives in performing high-end analytics to support decision making for GTB Finance and Business
- Play a key role in driving Continuous Improvement, Standardization, and efficiency initiatives
- Risk Monitoring & reporting including periodic submission of Regulatory reporting and HO Disclosures
- Prepare critical business MIS with sound analysis on the trend and supporting commentary for significant moves in business.
- Responsible for ensuring that KOPs are reviewed for relevance and effectiveness on a timely basis.
- Support control initiatives for the business.
- Analyzing movements in P&L and B / S for Trade Germany and providing meaningful commentary on movements as per SoX guidelines.
- Ensure quality of delivery is maintained as per the SLA
- Balance Sheet Substantiation under own remit.
- Facilitate CTB initiatives and drive continuous improvement within the team
- Quarterly disclosure submissions as per regulatory guidelines.
- Daily production and analysis of risk and PnL for GTB business.
- Stakeholder management by liaising with traders, market risk, finance, GVG, business & financial control, and resolving their queries in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- CA, CFA or MBA in Finance with a minimum of 4-5yrs of experience.
- Financial Markets or Global Transaction Banking experience preferred.
- Experience in Accounting and controls for business transactions
- Project management skills and experience are essential
- A good understanding of the financial products within an investment bank would be desirable
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving experience
- Ability to operate effectively with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, ability to challenge stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & self-driven
- Ability to share information, transfer knowledge and expertise to team memberske
