In a major relief to the CA Students, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India ( ICAI ) has deleted certain topics from Business Mathematics, Logical Reasoning, and Statistics for the November 2021 foundation examination.
It is noteworthy that certain topics namely Unit II i.e. Matrices under Chapter 2; Syllogism under Chapter 13; and Unit II i.e. Time Series under Chapter 19 in Paper 3 – Business Mathematics, Logical Reasoning and Statistics (100 Marks) have been deleted.
Applicability of Changes
The change in the syllabus of the Foundation Examination is not applicable on the June 2021 attempt, however, it is applicable from November 2021 onwards.
