The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) rescheduled Intermediate & IPC Examination in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry due to the Nivar cyclone.
The rescheduled Intermediate and IPC Examination shall be held on 9th December, 2020 and the Final (Old & New) Examination shall be held on 11th December, 2020 for the above-stated centres only at the same time.
“In view of heavy rains due to Nivar cyclone and consequent disruption of normal life in some cities in the State of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry (U.T), the Chartered Accountants Intermediate (Integrated Professional Competence) Examination (Group I), Paper 2, Business Laws, Ethics and Communication & Intermediate Examination (Group I), Paper 2, Corporate and Other Laws and Final (Old) Examination (Group I), Paper 3 & Final (New) Examination (Group I) Paper 3, Advanced Auditing and Professional Ethics scheduled to be held on 24th and 25th November 2020,” the ICAI announced.
The Institute notified the CA exams are rescheduled in some Cities in Tamil Nadu namely Chennai, Cuddalore, Kancheepuram, Karaikudi, Kumbakonam, Nagapattinam, Pudukkottai, Tiruvallur & Villupuram and Puducherry.
Admit Cards already issued would remain valid for the rescheduled date.
“However, it is clarified that the schedule of examinations notified vide Notification No.13- CA(Exam)/N/2020 dated 21st August 2020 in respect of all other cities shall remain unchanged,” the Institute announced.
