The Hewlett-Packard Development Company has invited applications for the post of Financial Analyst-Controllership.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the end-to-end accounting and financial reporting processes of several finance entities
- Ensure integrity of the accounting books and records in accordance with US and Local GAAP and HP accounting policies, and ensure a strong system of internal controls over the accuracy of financial reporting
- Preparation of accounting entries with respect to intercompany financing, dividends and capitalizations
- Statutory and central bank reporting
- Liaising with Finance Global Operation Team with respect to the accounting of before mentioned intercompany financing
- Act as a point of contact for the Treasury, International Tax and Legal department
- Initiating projects aiming at cost savings, process optimization and implementation of new tools
Qualifications:
- First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (CA) preferred.
- 4+ years of experience as a financial analyst.
- Typically experienced in more than one finance function.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
- Interest and skills to automate and digitalize processes
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Good business acumen.
- SAP experience
