The HSBC has invited applications for the post of Manager – Finance Operations GSC’s.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation/Review of monthly, quarterly and annual B/S, P/L Schedules and consolidated final accounts per IFRS
- Analytical skills to perform variance analysis and other investigation
- Strong technical knowledge of Accounting and reporting principles.
- Functional experience in accounting for all balance sheet / income statement heads
- Collaborate extensively with the external auditors during preliminary and yearend audit processes
- Responsible for maintaining documentation per RCA and SOX requirement
- Ensure SOPs are updated.
- Adherence to Group policies, IFRS reporting requirements, audit, controls and compliance requirements.
- Ensure testing of processes per BC plan
Qualifications:
- CA, Finance Post graduate with over 5yrs of post qualification experience
- Prior experience in Financial Reporting and strong knowledge IFRS
- Good working knowledge of month end closure preferably in the Banking Sector
- Meticulous and impeccable attention to detail
- Good communication skills for ensuring smooth day to day interaction with In-Country teams
- Very strong Excel skills to interpret high data volume and facilitate automation
- Good knowledge of HUB/REMIND/COGNOS and other HSBC systems
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, coordinate the efforts of others and work well with people at a wide range of levels
