The HSBC has invited applications for the post of Manager – Finance Operations GSC’s.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation/Review of monthly, quarterly and annual B/S, P/L Schedules and consolidated final accounts per IFRS
  • Analytical skills to perform variance analysis and other investigation
  • Strong technical knowledge of Accounting and reporting principles.
  • Functional experience in accounting for all balance sheet / income statement heads
  • Collaborate extensively with the external auditors during preliminary and yearend audit processes
  • Responsible for maintaining documentation per RCA and SOX requirement
  • Ensure SOPs are updated.
  • Adherence to Group policies, IFRS reporting requirements, audit, controls and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure testing of processes per BC plan

Qualifications:

  • CA, Finance Post graduate with over 5yrs of post qualification experience
  • Prior experience in Financial Reporting and strong knowledge IFRS
  • Good working knowledge of month end closure preferably in the Banking Sector
  • Meticulous and impeccable attention to detail
  • Good communication skills for ensuring smooth day to day interaction with In-Country teams
  • Very strong Excel skills to interpret high data volume and facilitate automation
  • Good knowledge of HUB/REMIND/COGNOS and other HSBC systems
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, coordinate the efforts of others and work well with people at a wide range of levels
