UBS has invited applications for the post of Financial Controller (AO).
QUALIFICATIONS
ā¢ Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant, Masterās degree or equivalent in accounting or related field
ā¢ ideally previous experience in a similar role focusing on product control, financial reporting and reconciliation
ā¢ demonstrated knowledge of product controls
ā¢ know-how to develop a robust set of controls to the financials (cost and revenue) of a global business
ā¢ analytical and methodical, with great attention to detail
ā¢ excellent communicator who can adapt style to audience
RESPONSIBILITIES
ā¢ Accounting Knowledge of various Financial products over their lifetime.
ā¢ implement accounting controls and manage their governance
ā¢ compile and analyze financial information for FX products, review daily P&L and Balance sheet controls and work closely with the team to resolve issue, escalate them where needed and be accountable for daily P&L and Balance sheet production
ā¢ reconcile trade capture system feeds to the general ledger and manage journal entries
ā¢ prepare financial statements and other financial reports for the business and external auditors
ā¢ collaborate on continuous improvement of quality, efficiency and effectiveness of controls
ā¢ comply with requests from internal and external auditors, Internal testing teams
ā¢ Innovate through agile working and automation
ā¢ Month end close of P&L and balance sheet, trial balance substantiation
ā¢ Knowledge of Tools Like Alteryx, Python, VBA, Power BI etc is an added advantage
