CBEC Launches E-Sanchit: Traders can now Upload Documents Online

The Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC), on 20^th October, has launched e-sanchit, enabling the registered persons to file documents online.

The Board, in its official website, announced that “Pilot implementation for paperless processing, uploading of supporting documents, which has been launched from 20th Oct 2017.”

Only ICEGATE registered users can use of it’s applications by accessing the e-SANCHIT link, the Board said.

Any registered ICEGATE user can upload documents using steps.

1. Login into ICEGATE website using login credentials.
2. Access the application by clicking on the e-SANCHIT link provided in menu options.

• Upload document by clicking on Upload Documents button

1. Validate the document for the digital signature.
2. Submit the document by clicking proper document type from document type drop-down and click on the submit button.
