The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) issued the Candidate User Manual for Remote Proctored Examination.
The manual guides about the procedure in respect of System Requirement Check; Entering the Login Credentials, Confirm Attendance and Sign In; Read Rules, Agree and Proceed; Auto Equipment Check; Enter the Personal Details, as required; Confirm the information and continue; Chatting with Proctor; Proctor Warnings for Suspicious Activities; Proctor can warn using a LIVE Chat; Submit Exam etc.
“You should be able to initiate a chat with proctor only after the first message is triggered from proctor. You should only use this option when you need support from the proctor,” the manual said.
The Institute in the manual highlighted that along with automated alerts by system, proctors also can initiate chat with candidates for surprise or random checks or other purposes.
