The Directorate General of Foreign Trade ( DGFT ), through Trade Notice no. 06/2024-25 dated June 18, 2024, has initiated a public consultation on proposed amendments to Appendix-4J of Handbook Procedures 2023. Stakeholders are urged to submit their comments within 15 days from the date of the notice.
The review of Appendix-4J comes in response to numerous representations from Export Promotion Councils ( EPCs ) and exporters. They have suggested amendments to facilitate exports and enhance operations within a more trusted ecosystem. Specifically, the DGFT is proposing a review of the export obligation period outlined in Appendix-4J. Thus it was decided to amend the same.
All concerned stakeholders are advised to provide their comments, suggestions, and views on the proposed amendments to Appendix-4J of HBP 2023. Feedback should be submitted within 15 days of the issuance of this Trade Notice to the email address policy4-dgft@gov.in.
