The Microsoft has invited applications for the post of Senior Finance Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight over the key financial processes processed through the Regional Operating Centers.
- Drive insightful monthly and quarterly financial reviews to highlight issues that required remediation and ensure compliance with SOX requirements.
- Lead the annual statutory audit coordination and partner closely with local controllers and the various functions on the annual financial statements preparation to ensure statutory compliance.
- Be the primary point of contact for local controllers for any issues escalations to other functions within the Regional Operating Centers and Corporate Accounting and proactively drive issue resolutions.
- Partner closely with local controllers, vendors and the various functions to drive continuous efficacies through process improvements and global standardization and centralization.
- Lead and drive new finance transformation initiatives, including new tax structure, intercompany and transfer pricing processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field AND 7+ years accounting or finance work experience.
- OR Master’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field AND 6+ years of accounting or finance work experience.
- Strong working knowledge of India Accounting Standards, IFRS and US GAAP.
- Professional accounting certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent.
- Prior experience in Public Accounting Firm in a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across multiple different global and functional groups within the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguous and challenging situations independently.
- Strong planning & organizational skills, with ability to work under tight deadlines independently.
- Self-confidence and flexibility to work within a team setting, and across global and functional teams.
