The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), the upper-body of Chartered Accountants, has introduced two new courses for its members.
The courses are in Internal Audit and Public Finance and Government Accounting.
The ICAI President CA Naveen D Gupta in a message to the ICAI members that “In order to reskill our members and empower them suitably as a capacity-building measure, the ICAI Council recently approved the revised Certificate Course on Internal Audit, with revision in curriculum and inclusion of new thoughts in the areas of governance, risk management, and compliance.”
“Further, public finance and government accounting is another area where a need has been felt to develop the skillset and empower our membership, and, therefore a new Certificate Course on Public Finance and Government Accounting has been launched,” he said.
