The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has issued a comprehensive circular notifying its members and stakeholders about a modification in office hours. This alteration is a proactive response to Republic Day security arrangements and is effective from January 22nd to January 26th, 2024.
Th circular states as follows:
“In compliance with the safety and security advice received from Delhi Police Authority, the working hours of the Office of the Institute at Indraprastha Marg, New Delhi – 110002 on the following days, will be regulated as per details given below:

| 22.01.2024 (Monday) | First half closed as per circular issued separately |
| 23.01.2024 (Tuesday) | 1.00 P.M. to 6.00 P.M. |
| 25.01.2024 (Thursday) | 9.30 A.M. to 2.00 P.M. |
| 26.01.2024 (Friday) | National Holiday |
It is further clarified that in terms of the said advice, the premises will remain closed from
2.00 P.M. on 22.01.24 (Monday) and 25.01.24 (Thursday). Further, on 23.01.24 (Tuesday),
the premises will remain closed till 1.00 P.M.
Employees are requested to note the aforementioned timings and accordingly report for
duty. Employees are further advised to be available during dosed hours on mobile/ email to
respond to urgent matters that may arise.”
