The Professional Development Committee ( PDC ) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India ( ICAI ) has issued a notice regarding the submission of additional information for MEF 2023-24.
This information is important for the preparation of the panel for the appointment or re-appointment of Statutory Auditors for State Co-Operative Banks (StCCBs) and Central Co-operative Banks (CCBs).
Applicants are requested to access the Additional Information Form on www.meficai.org. Before completing the form, it is advised to review the Advisory and Guidelines dated 15.01.2024 concerning the Appointment/Re-appointment of Statutory Auditors for State and Central Co-operative Banks.
Eligibility criteria for filling the Additional Information Form:
1. Partnership/LLP firms that submitted MEF for the year 2023-24.
2. At least 2 partners must have a ‘Date of Joining’ in the Firm on or before 1st July 2020, with at least 1 Partner being an FCA as of 1st July 2023.
To access the form, applicants can use their MEF 2023-24 login credentials. In case of a forgotten password, use the “Forgot Password” option for retrieval.
Important Notes:
– This is solely additional information required for MEF 2023-24.
– Only those who submitted MEF 2023-24 and meet the eligibility criteria mentioned above can apply.
– The deadline for submitting additional information is 7th May 2024.
