In a significant development for aspiring Chartered Accountants, the Board of Studies at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India ( ICAI ) has announced the commencement of Mock Test Papers Series – I for students gearing up for the CA Final/Intermediate May 2024 Examinations.
Schedule and Mode of Conduct:
The Mock Test Paper Series – I is scheduled to kick off on 4th March 2024, catering to both CA Final and Intermediate students. The tests will be conducted in physical and virtual modes, providing flexibility to students. Date-wise Breakdown:
– 04.03.2024: Final Paper-1: Financial Reporting (2 PM – 5 PM)
– 05.03.2024: Intermediate Paper-1: Advanced Accounting
– 06.03.2024: Final Paper-2: Advanced Financial Management
– 07.03.2024: Intermediate Paper-2: Corporate and Other Laws
– 08.03.2024: Final Paper-3: Advanced Auditing, Assurance, and Professional Ethics
– 09.03.2024: Intermediate Paper-3: Taxation
– 11.03.2024: Final Paper-4: Direct Tax Laws and International Taxation
– 12.03.2024: Intermediate Paper-4: Cost and Management Accounting
– 13.03.2024: Final Paper-5: Indirect Tax Laws
– 14.03.2024: Intermediate Paper-5: Auditing and Ethics
– 15.03.2024: Final Paper-6: Integrated Business Solutions
– 16.03.2024: Intermediate Paper-6: Financial Management & Strategic Management
Accessing Question/Answer Papers:
To download the question/answer papers, students are required to log in to the BOS Knowledge Portal at ICAI BoS or use the ICAI BOS App available on Android/iOS platforms. Additionally, the registration link for the Student Activities Portal can be found at ICAI|BoS Student Activities.
Students opting for in-person testing are urged to get in touch with their nearest Regional Councils/Branch offices of ICAI. The question papers for each subject will be uploaded on the BoS Knowledge Portal at www.icai.org daily at 1:30 PM during the specified period. It is recommended that students download and attempt these papers within the allotted time.
The answer key for each paper will be uploaded within 48 hours from the commencement of the respective paper, adhering to the schedule. This allows students to evaluate their performance by cross-referencing their answers with the provided keys.
