The Continuing Professional Education ( CPE ) Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India ( ICAI ) reminded members about the upcoming deadline for claiming unstructured CPE hours for the calendar year 2023.
Members who have not submitted the Self Declaration Form for claiming unstructured learning activities for 2023 are urged to do so by May 31, 2024, to avoid any difficulties in completing their overall CPE requirements.
A document outlining the CPE requirements for various member categories from 2023 onwards can be found at https://resource.cdn.icai.org/73566cpe59376.pdf.
Members can view their updated CPE hour credits for 2023 by logging in to the CPE Portal (http://www.cpeicai.org/) using their six-digit membership number as User ID and the default password (“cpe+” followed by the six-digit membership number).
Members who notice discrepancies in their online CPE hour status should contact the concerned Program Organizing Unit (POU).
Members who have completed unstructured CPE hours but haven’t uploaded the details on the CPE Portal for 2023 can still claim the credit online by logging into their account.
The deadline to submit the Self Declaration Form for claiming unstructured CPE hours specifically applies to Calendar Year 2023. Members are also advised to focus on completing their CPE requirements for the current year (2024) by December 31, 2024.
