The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India ( ICAI ) will convene a Meeting ICAI’s Past Presidents to discuss the further steps towards CA Amendment Bill, 2022.
The meeting of the Past Presidents of the ICAI is scheduled to be held on 6th April to discuss the matter.
The ICAI president has said that, “On 23rd of March, 2022, the aforesaid Report was presented before Both Houses of the Parliament. Some of the suggestions of the Institute have not been accepted by the Committee. Many of you have expressed concern about the contents of the Report. The Institute is carrying out an Impact Analysis & shall decide on the future course of action after due deliberations. A meeting of the Past Presidents of the Institute is scheduled to be held on 6th April to discuss the matter”.
The had raised concerns over the CA Amendment Bill to the Parliamentary panel. The ICAI had already submitted our memorandum to the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Finance.
