The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India ( ICAI ) has announced a brief reopening of the application window for the Chartered Accountants ( CA ) Final and Post-Qualification Course (PQC ) Examinations, scheduled for November 2024. This decision comes in response to student requests following the first implementation of a shortened application timeline for these exams.

The application window will be reopened for two days, starting from 11th September 2024, 11:00 AM until 12th September 2024, 11:59 PM. Candidates applying during this period will be required to pay a late fee of ₹600 or US$10.

The reopening is intended as a one-time opportunity to accommodate students who may have been affected by the reduced application window.

This year’s application period was shortened from the usual 28 days to 17 days, aligning with the new policy of conducting the Intermediate and Foundation exams three times a year as implemented by ICAI.

While the new 17-day timeline will apply to all upcoming CA exams, ICAI has made this exception for the November 2024 CA Final and PQC exams, including the Insurance and Risk Management ( IRM ) Technical Examination and the International Taxation Assessment Test ( INTT-AT ).
