The Institute of Company secretaries of India ( ICSI ) has decided to introduce OMR sheet for three subjects in CS examination scheduled on December 2019.
As per an announcement made by the Institute, the examination for following three subjects in Executive Programme (New syllabus) shall be conducted in MCQ based OMR format w.e.f. December 2019 examination., 1. Module – I, Paper-4: Tax Laws 2. Module – II, Paper- 5: Corporate and Management Accounting 3. Module — II, Paper — 8: Financial and Strategic Management
“The students appearing for the above three papers in December 2019 examination are advised to prepare for their examination accordingly,” the ICSI said.
The Council of the Institute, in its meeting held on 4th – 5th May, 2019 had decided that w.e.f. December 2019 Examination session, some of the papers of the Executive Programme (New Syllabus) will be OMR based.
The Council, in consideration of the multitude of requests received and to provide to the students ease in undertaking the CS examination, has modified the examination schedule from December 2019 session onwards and one day gap between each Paper/Subject of CS Examinations has been approved.
Under the ongoing regime, each paper of one Module of a Programme was held on consecutive days, as per the decision, the new examination schedule shall be introduced wherein for the CS Executive Programme one paper of Module-I shall be followed by one paper of Module-II.
