The signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) and Lean Campus Startups (Trust) & WEICI India took place in Manesar, Gurugram on 14th November 2023. Dr. Lata Suresh, representing IICA, and Mr. Umesh Rathod, representing Lean Campus Startups as the Founder, were the signatories to the MoU.
The collaborative goal of IICA and Lean Campus Startups & WEICI India is centered around empowering both corporate and women entrepreneurs by enhancing their knowledge, skills, and competencies in effectively establishing and managing a diverse workforce. In collaboration with IICA, Lean Campus Startups (LCS) will organize programs specifically designed for women entrepreneurs and students.
Dr. Lata Suresh underscored the collaborative mission to empower entrepreneurs, emphasizing its focus on both the corporate sector and women entrepreneurs. The empowerment initiative encompasses providing resources, training, mentorship, and various support mechanisms. The overarching objective is to elevate different facets of entrepreneurship, including staying informed about industry trends, acquiring skills relevant to efficient business management, and developing competencies necessary for success in a dynamic business environment.
Mr. Umesh Rathod highlighted that the collaboration aims to equip entrepreneurs with tools and strategies essential for establishing and managing a diverse workforce in terms of gender, ethnicity, skills, and perspectives. In partnership with IICA, Lean Campus Startups & WEICI India will conduct tailored programs for women entrepreneurs and students. These initiatives may encompass workshops, training sessions, networking events, and mentorship opportunities, all aimed at fostering entrepreneurship and leadership among women.
