About the Role:
- As a Category Marketing Manager at Flipkart, you will lead the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives tailored to specific product categories on our platform. You will work closely with category management teams to understand their objectives and develop marketing plans that drive customer acquisition, engagement, and sales within each category.
Responsibilities:
- Identify & build growth capabilities to drive significant growth & enablers that happen on online sales of Electronics in India. These growth opportunities could span across affordability, third party services, monetization, new customer acquisition & inorganic growth areas
- Utilize data analytics tools and consumer insights to understand customer behavior, preferences, and purchase patterns within each category. Use insights to inform marketing strategies and tactics, and identify opportunities for personalized marketing initiatives
- Work closely with cross functional teams to pilot, build & scale such capabilities in a sustainable manner. Own, set-up and track output metrics for each project (GMV upside, Adoption, ROI)
- Drive category merchandising for Electronics category

- Work closely with Product teams to plan & develop features and extensions to existing product lines
- Drive customer experience for the category with improvements in search, catalog and browse experiences amongst others
- Analyze sales data & research market trends, customer needs to develop key insights & growth opportunities. This workstream may involve ad-hoc RCAs / interventions on escalations.
- Work closely with sell-side & central marketing teams to promote & create awareness for product lines.
