The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) issued the circular notifying the relaxation in Levy of Additional Fee in Filing of Certain Forms under Companies Act, 2013, and LLP Act, 2008.
The Government issued the notification in continuation to this Ministry’s General Circular No.06/2021 dated May 3, 2021 and on account of requests for further extension of timelines specified in the said Circular.
The MCA has decided to grant additional time upto 31 August, 2021 to companies/LLPs to file forms under the Companies Act, 2013 or LLP Act, 2008 (other than a CHG-1 Form, CHG-4 Form and CHG-9 Form) which were due for filing during 1 April, 2021 to 31 July, 2021 without any additional fees.
Accordingly, only normal fees shall be levied upto 31 August, 2021 for forms (other than charge related forms referred above) required to be filed during 1 April, 2021 to 31 July, 2021.
Earlier, the MCA in view of Covid-19 related restriction and disruption, decided to grant additional time Upto 31st July 2021 for companies, LLPs to file certain forms without any additional fee. MCA via a circular dated 3rd May 2021 announced that no additional fee shall be levied upto July 31, 2021, for the delayed filing of forms which were due during the period April 01, 2021, to May 31, 2021.
