The Meesho has invited applications for the post of Associate Director – FP&A.
Responsibilities:
- Develop financial plans along with various business and technology teams with bottom-up’ approach
- Work closely with the business team in charting out business strategy and translate the same into an annual operating plan
- Develop a clear understanding of key business drivers
- Analyse key financial metrics, provide value add analysis and support to sales/finance management
- Do an in-depth analysis of variance and communicate the same to create visibility and enable the planning of actionable.
- Participate in budget discussion and support scenario building/simulation modelling
- Jointly own the business plan and P&L with the business team and deliver on the same
- Direct and oversee the overall policies, objectives, and initiatives of the revenue cycle activities to optimise operations
- Do a scenario analysis and develop business plans on product enhancement or business initiatives and present them to top management
- Review financial information, identify exceptions/inconsistencies, initiate action and follow-up for logical closure
- Influence and drive business decisions/action with appropriate analysis and comments
- Lead revenue, commercial arrangements, deal tracks, collaborate with upstream and downstream process teams for resolutions
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Chartered Accountant or a master’s degree in Financial Management
- 8-10 years of experience. At least 7+ years of experience in corporate FP&A or business finance
- Experience in analytics, implementing analytics/management reporting/planning tools like Cognos, Qlik, Hyperion, etc.
- Ability to anchor/steer central calibrations around strategy, decision making and prioritisation
- Proven ability to form strong collaborations with stakeholders
