How can Become a CA After the 12th Examination?

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has recently developed the Direct Entry Route, which allows students to participate in the CA Intermediate Course without taking the Foundation examinations.
Every CA aspirant has to complete a mandatory practical training called “Articleship.” During the Articleship, you will work as an intern at a CA firm or under a practising CA for a specific period, as per the ICAI guidelines. The goal of the three-year practical training program is to prepare CA students to use theoretical knowledge in the real world and to prepare them to enter the corporate sector immediately after graduation. Three years under the supervision of the trained CA is very much necessitated.
The applicant can apply for the CA final exam during the last six months of their three-year articled training period. These exams are also held twice a year, typically in May and November. Once you have cleared the exam, you can join the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and declare yourself a “Chartered Accountant.”
After successfully clearing the CA Final examinations and completing the GMCS training, you can apply for membership with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). Upon approval, you will become a qualified Chartered Accountant.

The Common Proficiency Test (CPT)

The test is of objective type which consists of multiple-choice questions. It is divided into four sections: Fundamentals of Accounting, Mercantile Laws, General Economics, and Quantitative Aptitude.
Candidates who pass the CPT are eligible to register for the Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC) and move to the next level of chartered accountant after the BCom program.
The CPT is conducted twice a year, in June and December. The duration of the exam is 4 hours and it is held in the morning and afternoon sessions.
The eligibility criteria to appear for CPT is that the candidate should have passed the 10th standard examination or equivalent and should be registered for the Common Proficiency Course (CPC) with the Board of Studies of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (CA after BCom).
How to become CA after B.com?
After completing a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree, the CA aspirants have to follow the following steps.
PlayRegister for the Common Proficiency Test (CPT) conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
Clear the CPT and then register for the Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC).
Clear the IPCC and then register for the practical training (Articleship) which is mandatory for 3 years.
After completing the Articleship, you will be eligible to appear for the final CA examination.
After clearing Final CA Exam, you will be awarded the chartered accountant certificate by the ICAI
