Job Role
- Reviewing the work of subordinates, making certain they are appropriate; since this is a continuing duty, the superior must be fully familiar with the capabilities of all team members.
- Ensuring the completes of audit working papers by documenting audit tests and findings in line with ISQC
- Suggest modifications to audit reports
- IFRS Compliance Checks and preparation of related checklists
- Assisting preparation and review of Financial Statements as per IFRS and IFRS for SMEs, including final verifications
- Ensure compliance with quality, budget, and deadlines.
- Assist with follow-up and review of full audits, as required and communicate with clients
- Review the financial statements along with the working papers, management’s report on internal control, and the related documents, such as LOR, UAAD, Group Auditor’s instructions, and Consolidation Package.
- Preparation/review of Management letter points, issue letters, letters of representation, etc.
- Provide required support to the lead auditors as and when required.
Candidate Requirements
- ACCA member or Affiliate with relevant experience
- 2+ years’ experience in IFRS or Big Four (EY, KPMG, Deloitte, PWC), etc. will be added advantage.
- Relevant Team management experience will be added advantage.
Skills Required
- Detailed understanding of IFRS, IFRS for SMEs, various report formats(audit/review/compilation) and financial statements formats (consolidated/combined/quarterly/standalone, etc.)
- Application of the relevant ISAs and standards during the audit of financial statements.
- Quality review/Extensive review/Final review of audit files
- Consolidations and combination reviews and support for team members.
- Good leadership & communication skill
- Conducting any other related task that may be assigned by the management.
